Nahual es un proyecto pensado para que todos podamos programar.
El desarrollo de sistemas puede ser mucho mas divertido de lo que parece y sobre todo despues de aprender algunas cosas es muy facil empezar a crear y programar tus propias paginas y sistemas. El que programa vive creando.
Estamos convencidos que cualquiera puede programar y que es necesario llegar a aquellos lugares a donde la Universidad no suele llegar.
Existe una enorme demanda de personas que sepan programar actualmente en Argentina y por eso es una buena oportunidad para aprender y utilizarlo como salida laboral.
En la atualidad, el proyecto cuenta con 2 nodos: el comedor Contra Viento y Marea, situado en Villa Centenario (vean la foto), y el hogar Pantalón Cortito, ubicado en La Plata.

Es un poco un deseo a desarrollar y no tanto una realidad, nosotros buscamos ser lo mas practicos posibles y que se aprenda haciendo. La experiencia nuestra es que cuanto mas queremos introducir conceptos abstractos mediantes las tecnicas mas tradicionales mas resistencias tenemos y nos gustaria en el nuevo curso que estamos armando que empieza en Octubre probar que los conceptos se introduzcan dentro del contexto de algo practico.
El concepto de Extreme Education lo vemos mas por el lado de que en un futuro podamos armar cursos en donde los profesores sean los chicos y los alumnos nosotros, requiere de mucha preparacion pero nos vamos acercando de a poco.
Los nuevos cursos empiezan en Octubre, suscribite a los feeds del proyecto que vamos a ir desarrollando novedades sobre el tema

No sé si llego tarde, pero en http://scratch.mit.edu/ tienen un entorno de programación completo (incluyendo lenguaje) para niños y adolescentes.
Por lo que pude ver, es muy sencillo de aprender y se puede lograr mucho.

Algunos de nosotros vimos el Scratch. Personalmente me parece que puede volverse algo complijo de usar cuando se podría buscar algún otro sistema que sea más acotado, que tenga menos funcionalidades pero que resulte más intuitivo para los chicos. Igual es una opinión personal.
Aparte, entre nosotros estuvimos viendo http://www.poparcade.net/swf/light-bot-2205.swf que tiene una funcionalidad totalmente distinta pero que puede ser util para la primera clase.
